Wal-Mart Tire Center in Mumbai opened its first Indian outlet on Monday, offering customers an array of products at a low cost, according to a report.
The outlet will serve customers of all segments of the country including the middle class, the lower middle class and the lower and middle-middle class, according a press release issued by the retailer.
The store, located at the junction of the Rupala Road and Mumbai Metro lines, will offer a range of products, including tyres, fuel tanks, spare parts and tires, said the release.
“In addition, we will be opening two more outlets in Mumbai and Delhi,” the statement said.
Walmart has been opening its Indian stores in other cities in the country, including Hyderabad and Mumbai.
